What Are Custom Night Guards and Retainers?

Preserve your smile

Custom night guards are protective devices worn during sleep to prevent damage caused by teeth grinding (bruxism) or jaw clenching. Retainers help maintain your teeth's alignment after orthodontic treatment. Unlike bulky over-the-counter options, ours are carefully fitted using digital scans and crafted by our on-site lab to feel light, discreet, and completely personalized.

3

You wake up with headaches often

Your jaw gets tired easily during your cleanings or during any procedure

5

Your jaw clicks and pops and you have a hard time opening your jaw all the way

If this is you, most likely you are clenching and/or grinding your teeth, possibly during the day, most likely at night, or both.

Every smile, and every bite, is different. That’s why we start with a one-on-one consultation to evaluate your teeth, bite, and symptoms. From there, we design a solution that’s customized for your comfort and long-term health.

Sleep Better, Stress Less

A properly fitted guard helps reduce nighttime tension, ease jaw strain, and cut down on those morning headaches. You'll wake up feeling more rested and refreshed.

Protect Your Teeth With a Custom Guard

Clenching and grinding put tremendous stress on your molars, leading to cracks, wear, and repeat dental work. Our custom night guards provide a precise fit that shields your teeth from further damage while you sleep.

Ease Jaw Pain and Morning Headaches

Clicking, popping, and jaw fatigue are all signs your bite is under strain. With a custom appliance designed to support your jaw alignment, you can finally find relief from daily discomfort and protect your long-term oral health.

If you wake up with jaw tension, headaches, or notice flattened or chipped teeth, you may be grinding at night. A guard can help prevent damage and discomfort. We can make a guard that can be used as a day and night splint in severe cases of jaw discrepancies that cause jaw pain and discomfort when surgical or prosthodontic interventions are not an option. A custom splint made at the "natural" position can provide jaw pain relief, improve headaches, and can re-train your jaw and neck muscles to relax.

Retainers are essential for maintaining your smile’s new position. While full-time wear may only be needed initially, nighttime use is typically recommended long-term.

With proper care, a high-quality custom appliance can last several years. We’ll check yours at routine visits to ensure it's still doing its job.

Yes, custom-fit guards and retainers are designed specifically for your bite, offering superior comfort, protection, and longevity compared to store-bought versions. They help prevent damage from grinding or shifting, reduce jaw tension, and ensure better outcomes for long-term oral health.

Let us know right away. Since already took your digital scans, we may be able to remake your appliance quickly. No impressions needed.
