Why Choose a Prosthodontist?
When it comes to restoring your smile, not all dentists bring the same level of training or perspective. A prosthodontist is a dental specialist trained to restore function, aesthetics, and harmony for complex or long-term cases.

What Is a Prosthodontist?
A prosthodontist is a dentist who completes several additional years of advanced, specialty training focused on restoring and replacing teeth. They’re uniquely equipped to treat complex cases involving worn, broken, missing, or damaged teeth—often with an eye for precision, long-term health, and aesthetics. From crowns and bridges to veneers, implants, and full-mouth reconstruction, prosthodontists don’t just fix, they rebuild with purpose.

When multiple teeth are involved, or when past treatments have failed, it’s essential to have a provider who looks beyond one tooth at a time. Prosthodontists are trained to diagnose, plan, and treat with a whole-mouth perspective, balancing bite function, facial harmony, and esthetics. You’ll get a clear plan, fewer referrals, and long-term results you can trust.

“Dr. Emily Ro is truly an artist and the attention to detail and care that she gave to my veneers is so appreciated.”
During a routine check-up, I had mentioned to Dr. Ro that I was thinking of going to Brazil to have a mouth-full of veneers put in. She gently explained to me that I really only need 4 front teeth replaced for the desired effect, so going through all of the pain for an entire mouth of teeth would be unnecessary. I’d been coming to Dr. Ro for almost a decade and didn’t realize she specializes in veneers. I am so grateful that I listened to her advice.
It ended up being the most perfect solution and I am thrilled. The best part about doing veneers locally instead of traveling out of the country, you can swing by if you ever need an adjustment. I am an actor, and a few days before my scheduled veneer installation date, I booked a major TV role. Dr. Ro’s team scrambled to adjust schedules to get me in and done (after-hours) so that I would look fine for filming the next day. Thank you Dr. Ro!

No referral needed. You can schedule a consultation directly with our team.
We understand how frustrating that can be. That’s exactly why we’ve gone through additional training to get it right for you. Our team specializes in correcting and rebuilding previous dental work with a careful, compassionate approach. We are happy to evaluate your current condition and make recommendations with the best possible prognosis in mind. We always consider what we would do for our own families if they were in the same situation.
It depends on the complexity but we’ll let you know exactly what you can expect as part of your consultation. Some services, like single crowns and onlays can be planned for one day appointments thanks to our in-house lab. Other more complex treatments will require sequencing and can take several weeks to several months. A thorough assessment will be made and treatment recommendations will include estimated treatment sequencing which will be reviewed in detail.
Although we offer comprehensive cosmetic treatments, prosthodontics takes it a step further. While the results are beautiful, prosthodontics restore function, comfort, and harmony to your bite so you can eat, speak, and smile with confidence.
More than slapping on big white teeth, our focus is on long-term health: protecting your natural teeth, preventing future issues, and designing restorations that feel as good as they look. Simply put, it’s about rebuilding your quality of life, not just your smile.
