I was voted best smile in my school last year and that couldn't have been possible without the confidence Dr. Ro has given me. When my mom was looking for a dentist who specialized in replacement teeth for me in 2008, a reputable oral surgeon recommended the best: Dr. Ro. After moving to Manhattan in 1996, I tried a few different dentists and then found Dr. Ro, who at that time was just starting out. I never had to look again. She is absolutely the best dentist I’ve seen and I’ve seen many. She’s highly professional, patient, competent, and always up to date with the latest dental machinery and advanced techniques. She’s a perfectionist and once returned a crown to the lab three times until satisfied with the color and fit [she now has her own milling equipment]. It’s no surprise that she’s built a very successful practice in Chelsea over the past several decades with many satisfied patients.

During a routine check-up, I had mentioned to Dr. Ro that I was thinking of going to Brazil to have a mouth-full of veneers put in. She gently explained to me that I really only need 4 front teeth replaced for the desired effect, so going through all of the pain for an entire mouth of teeth would be unnecessary. I’d been coming to Dr. Ro for almost a decade and didn’t realize she specializes in veneers. I am so grateful that I listened to her advice.
It ended up being the most perfect solution and I am thrilled. The best part about doing veneers locally instead of traveling out of the country, you can swing by if you ever need an adjustment. I am an actor, and a few days before my scheduled veneer installation date, I booked a major TV role. We understand how frustrating that can be. That’s exactly why we’ve gone through additional training to get it right for you. Our team specializes in correcting and rebuilding previous dental work with a careful, compassionate approach. We are happy to evaluate your current condition and make recommendations with the best possible prognosis in mind. We always consider what we would do for our own families if they were in the same situation.
It depends on the complexity but we’ll let you know exactly what you can expect as part of your consultation. Some services, like single crowns and onlays can be planned for one day appointments thanks to our in-house lab. Other more complex treatments will require sequencing and can take several weeks to several months. A thorough assessment will be made and treatment recommendations will include estimated treatment sequencing which will be reviewed in detail.
